Trees and Bushes
Trees and Bushes is the trees and bushes of the overworld: the conical trees of Hyrule Field, Kakariko's big tree, and the bushes Link walks through for rupees in Ocarina of Time.
Placement
A tree drops its item when Link rolls into it or hits it. A bush drops its item when Link walks through it. These bushes can't be cut or lifted. For those, use Bush/Grass.
Give a tree a Z rotation other than 0 and it drops a Gold Skulltula instead of an item when hit. The Z rotation and the Drop Table field together pick the Skulltula's token flag, so use a pair no other token in the scene uses.

Parameters
Beyond the type above, the parameters hold these fields. The editor shows each as a labelled control.
Shown: 0x0000, the value a newly placed copy starts with.
- Type
bits 0–7: 25 options25 of 256 values used - Drop Table
bits 8–14: 0–127all 128 values usedWhich item table the tree or bush draws from when hit. 0 is a table, not nothing. Values from 100 up drop nothing. - No Drop
bit 15: on / offDrops nothing, whatever the Drop Table says.
Rotation fields
This actor reads these rotation fields as settings, not as a direction. The editor shows each one as a number field.
| Field | Axis | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Skulltula Group | Z | Any value other than 0 makes a tree drop a Gold Skulltula, and a bush drop nothing. The token group is this number minus 1, repeating every 32. |
