Enemy Spawner

Enemy Spawner is a prop actor in Ocarina of Time.

← All actors

Placement

Draws nothing static. It renders procedurally or not at all, so it may be invisible in the editor even when placed correctly.

It only carries gameplay_keep — the enemies it spawns (Leever, Tektite, Stalchild, Wolfos) each need their own object bank already loaded in the scene or they won't function.

Invisible; spawns only with the player nearby. The Leever type additionally requires the PLAYER to be standing on quicksand/deep-sand floor collision, and spawns in a ring around the player, not the spawner.

Enemy variants (4)

This actor is placed in one of these forms. Pick it from the editor's Enemy dropdown. The value is what the actor's parameters store.

Parameters

Beyond the enemy above, the parameters hold these fields. The editor shows each as a labelled control.

Rotation fields

This actor reads these rotation fields as settings, not as a direction. The editor shows each one as a number field.

Field Axis What it does
Trigger Radius Z Enemies appear only while Link is within 120 units plus 40 times this number. Leevers ignore it, and so do Stalchildren and Wolfos in Hyrule Field.

There is no model to replace: this actor draws nothing itself.
