Placement

No known placement issues. This actor's game code has been reviewed, and a placed copy behaves normally.

Type variants (6)

This actor is placed in one of these forms. Pick it from the editor's Type dropdown. The value is what the actor's parameters store. The editor draws every one of these identically, so this list has no pictures. They differ in behaviour, or in something the preview doesn't model.

ValueType
0Saria's Song kid (needs a type-5 stump)Type 0 is the Saria's-Song kid: without the song's story flag he runs off and deletes himself when approached, and the song interaction needs an invisible type-5 stump placed too.
1Ocarina-minigame kid 1 (needs kid 2 and a type-6 stump)The ocarina-minigame kids start invisible and do nothing unless BOTH kids (types 1 and 2) and the type-6 stump are placed together.
2Ocarina-minigame kid 2 (needs kid 1 and a type-6 stump)The ocarina-minigame kids start invisible and do nothing unless BOTH kids (types 1 and 2) and the type-6 stump are placed together.
5Invisible trigger stump (for the Saria's Song kid)Type 5 is an invisible trigger stump — it renders nothing.
6Invisible trigger stump (crashes without both minigame kids)Type 6 (the ocarina-game stump) is invisible and CRASHES when the player approaches unless kids of type 1 AND 2 are also present.
3Fighting Skull Kid (needs the Poacher's Saw on the save)The fighting Skull Kid despawns at load unless the save's adult trade quest has reached the Poacher's Saw.
CaveatThe high 6 bits (params ≥ 0x0400 steps) pick the type: 0 = the Saria's-Song kid (flees unless the song flag is set; interacting needs an invisible type-5 stump), 1/2 = ocarina-minigame kids (inert without each other plus a type-6 stump), 5/6 = invisible trigger stumps (6 crashes without both kids present), and everything else is the fighting Skull Kid — which despawns unless the adult trade quest has reached the Poacher's Saw.

Parameters

Beyond the type above, the parameters hold these fields. The editor shows each as a labelled control.
